Paella valenciana de pollo de corral recién hecha en Vlue Arribar, Marina de Valencia

Paella valenciana and rice dishes by the sea

At Arribar, rice is the reason so many people come back. Paella valenciana made with free-range chicken, seafood rice, creamy melosos and fideuà, all cooked to order and served at your table overlooking the boats of the Marina de Valencia.

And it’s not just us saying so: in 2018 our paella valenciana won the award for best Vora Mar paella in Valencia and in 2023 it was a finalist in the Sueca paella competition, one of the strictest when it comes to the traditional recipe.

Tip: order your paella in advance

A proper paella takes time. If you order it when you arrive we’ll still make it, but it takes around an hour. So the best thing is to order it when you book: you sit down, have a few starters and the rice arrives at the table just right.

Before and after the rice

To start, our most popular dishes: garlic prawns, Andalusian-style fried squid, homemade Iberian ham or lobster croquettes and Valencian mussels (clóchinas) when they’re in season. If rice isn’t your thing, try our Josper-grilled meats or our steak tartare, a winning dish in 2018 and jury’s first prize in 2019 at the International Meat Carnival, which Ángel prepares at your table. And to finish, torrija with meringue milk ice cream.
