A family-friendly restaurant in Valencia, by the sea

Eating out with children shouldn’t be a race to finish before they get bored. At Vlue Arribar, in the Marina de Valencia, we have a kids’ area inside the restaurant: the little ones play and draw at their own pace while the grown-ups linger over lunch looking out at the boats. At weekends and on public holidays there’s also a childminder.

Paella valenciana with free-range chicken, homemade croquettes, Josper-grilled meats and desserts everyone loves. And as the kitchen stays open from 13:00 to 23:30, you eat when it suits your family, not the restaurant.

A kids’ area inside the restaurant

It’s not a corner with a few toys: it’s a part of the restaurant designed for them, with child-sized tables and chairs, games and things to draw and keep busy with. It’s always open, so the children have their own space and you can eat in peace just a few metres away.

A childminder at weekends and on public holidays

At weekends and on public holidays we usually have a childminder who plays with them and keeps an eye on everything. As this can vary, ask us when you book whether she’ll be there that day.

Everything you need for little ones

  • High chairs for the youngest.
  • Baby changing in the toilets.
  • Space to leave the pushchair.
  • Private car park right below the restaurant, so no driving round in circles with the kids in the car.
  • Next to the Neptuno gardens and the beach, for a stroll before or after.

What the children eat

Most of them love the paella valenciana with free-range chicken, and for sharing, the homemade Iberian ham croquettes and Andalusian-style fried squid always go down well. If your child has an allergy or only eats three things, tell your waiter and we’ll find a way.

At Christmas we also have a children’s Christmas menu for €24, with drinks and Christmas sweets included.

Family celebrations

Communions, christenings, birthdays or Sunday lunch with the grandparents. We prepare menus for groups of up to 230 people, with a private area or the whole dining room, and the children kept busy in their area. See how we organise group menus and celebrations.
